工作人员 starting salaries 

The starting salary for a staff c和idate is determined based on the market as well as a Compensation Individual Pay Model.    外部市场, 内部股票, pay grade 和 the c和idate’s education 和 experience above what is minimally required of the position determines the c和idate’s starting rate of pay.  Most new hire starting salaries range between the 最低 和 中点 of the pay range.

赌博娱乐平台网址大全’s pay structure serves as the framework for competitive, fair 和 consistent pay decisions for staff employees.  Each staff job is assigned a unique job code 和 title, 和 is placed in a pay grade based on an evaluation of the job duties 和 requirements of the position as documented in the job description. 

Each pay grade has an associated pay range that is applied to every job within that pay grade. Each job within a pay grade, while it may perform different duties 和/or for different departments, consists of duties that require similar levels of knowledge, skills 和 abilities.

Using our job descriptions, 赌博娱乐平台网址大全 identifies similar benchmark jobs in market pay surveys, at Universities with similar enrollment 和 budget size 和 within the relevant geographic areas where we recruit.  This process, repeated biennially, is how 赌博娱乐平台网址大全 keeps our ranges competitive.

Each pay range has a 最低, 中点最大:  

  • 最低 - Employees who are new to the job, are in a learning situation, do not have substantial experience in the new position 和/or require additional training to build the knowledge 和 skills to be fully proficient 和 successful in the job. 

  • 中点 - Represents the competitive market rate for the position for fully experienced employees.  The employee has demonstrated the ability to perform duties successfully under the normal level of supervision required.

  • 最大 - Reserved for employees whose performance 和 contribution consistently exceeds expectations.  They consistently demonstrate mastery of their position 和 potential for advancement to more complex 和 responsible positions. It is rare that an employee reaches the maximum of their pay range prior to promotion to more senior positions.

To determine equitable pay rates when we hire or transfer an employee to a new job code, we start with the pay range, pay rates of other employees performing similar roles, as well as the knowledge 和 relevant job experience of the new or transferring employee.
