Through its endowment, Trinity University has long committed resources in support of student scholarships.
Now, to continue growing access to the Trinity experience, the Board of Trustees has committed $25 Million from the endowment as a match for the creation of new, endowed scholarships or funding to existing scholarships.
This is the Trinity Commitment

While the University’s endowment has consistently fueled our trajectory, philanthropic scholarships will spur us to even greater heights.

The Trinity Commitment is critical to our success as a national liberal arts university. Increasing the number of philanthropically funded undergraduate scholarships is Trinity’s foremost priority.

Your support in funding scholarships for our students will launch them into the world and enable them to fully immerse themselves in their communities.
Need-Based Aid
The total Cost of Attendance minus the Student Aid Index equals that student’s demonstrated financial need.
Need-based aid packages are built through a combination of:
- Federal and State Grants, including Pell
- Federal Loans
- Federal Work Study
- Donor-Funded and Endowment-Funded Scholarships
Merit Aid
Merit scholarships are a key competitive edge for Trinity, and merit rewards are often a deciding factor for top academic achievers.
Merit scholarships help Trinity attract the academically best and brightest students, regardless of their family circumstances. It is an opportunity to reward hard working students with the recognition of their success as they arrive at Trinity.
